Oil Catch Can Vent?

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Got a cheap ebay catch can for my build and was considering adding a vent via a autozone mini breather:

    I was about to drill a third hole and mount the breather on the top... But then I realized the return hose goes to the manifold and adding the vent will probably just be a path of least resistance for boost...

    Right now im thinking to just run a hose from the PCV to the can and have air escape the vent (still catch the oil) and plug the vacuum hose to the manifold.

    Looking for any thoughts of enlightenment. Thanks.

    If you have a s/c and have it run in a stock location, don't add a filter. It will cause a vacuum leak.

    If your PCV system is separated from the intake track, completely independent of each other, then you can add a filter.

    That's what I figured. Im going to plug the manifold vacuum line and just run the PCV to the can with the filter to vent.

    K & N filter, 275 70 17 Cooper AT3, OME Nitrocharger shocks, 884 Springs, Dakar leafs.
    That's what I just did. the truck runs better also...
