I get up an hour before my wife. All I get is her telling me to be quiet in the shower!

I'm the same way... Takes an hour to fall asleep, and slight noises wake me up. Irritating as hell since our house is dead quiet at night so I can hear the cats doing whatever they do downstairs, dragging shoes upstairs, or the kids coughing in their rooms. Real bad when the baby was in our room because she grunts in her sleep or wakes up a little and makes funny noises. Hell, I can be kept awake by a cat on the bed purring which you would think would be somewhat soothing background noise. But it just irritates me, I get pissed off, kick the cat off the bed, and am then wound up on adrenaline and can't sleep!

Also means when my wife hits snooze on her phone for half an hour to an hour I can't go back to sleep even though I don't have to be up for another hour and a half.

I'm a snooze button hitter. Mine's set to go off every 10 minutes. I've done it long enough that the alarm clock eventually just gives up (after an hour).
