    so if i buy a new basic acess cab and want to put on 16 inch rims, they make them to fit the 5 lug?

    love it....I have so many ideas but just don't know where to start. I'm thinking some new wheels/tires and taunau cover to start. Any suggestions for simple home mods?

    You should be able to fine different rims. Just look for ones that will fit of Jeeps, you might have to put spacers on. I did.

    The only thing I didn't buy aftermarket was the grill. I started out with the chrome then I did the mod and used chicken wire and black paint.

    Dude that tacoma looks amazing i bought one wrecked 07 with 39000 miles i paid 1700 for it cheap and light hit clean title and im in the proggress on making mine just like yours thanks for the idea

    you can take them off and they look pretty cool. I have seen it done before and i like the look. You end up with a dashed line effect following the curve of where the flares used to be and look pretty unique.

    check out SingleCabGuy's truck it has that done on it and looks pretty bad ass
