shorty headers or long tube???

    Tooter do you think if you used 2 inch pipe it would have helped with low.end torque and scavenging even more or would choke the motor off to fast.

    Those URD headers are truly works of art. :thumbsup: I love to see well thought out designs like that are implemented into useful products. Are the prototypes going to have air injection channels? That would be great as the pumped air at cold start heats up the catalysts really fast. Tuning would certainly help you. I've never had any done because mine is just a work truck.

    I've thought about inserting a short sleeve at the end of the exhaust pipe to neck it down to 2 inches as an experiment just to see what happens. It does run the risk of an overheated engine on the freeway if it's too much of a restriction. I might give it a go and putt around real easy at low speed with the sleeve in the pipe to see what it feels like. ;)
