    Interested in this but then I would have to remove all of the factory JBL sub and amp crap. I am just not sure if I would still get sound out of my door speakers if I removed all of the factory crap. I am thinking no?

    As long as you still have the door speakers connected I don't see how taking out your sub would have anything to do with them.

    As far as I know, the door speaker wiring is tied into the JBL amp/sub combo wiring. I may go out to my truck and try and disconnect everything and see what happens. Of course, that will be when I get up enough energy to try and get through the couple feet of ice and snow to get to my truck...
