Anybody else get the wrong swing arm with a rear bumper order recently?
Sad to say I did. First I noted that the camp table was not included and notified them promptly. Last weekend I put the bumper on then the swing arm only to find out the swing arm doesn't come close to fitting the bumper, and the lock screw handle is wrong size too.

    Not a HAPPY CAMPER!

I talked to Nathan, really nice guy. He is pulling out all the stops to make things right as fast as possible. Lets see if he can a new one out to me before the upcoming planned trip.

Nathan did his part by getting another swing gate to me before the long weekend death valley maiden voyage. Got the table, telescoping light right but the screw lock was off by half an inch. Damn! More road blocks.
So I took it to S&H 4 Wheel Drive who cutoff the bottom bracket then rewelded it.
Now I can go camping. Just load up the gear Friday night and the CVT Saturday morning.
Saturday morning, another road block, the attachment rails for the tent line up perfectly in the way with the rack mount to the Snugpro top.

Bright idea: Goto home depot get longer bolts and run attachment plates thru slots on rack attachment. Get back to try no luck plates aren't long enough to do the job and I didn't look at both angles in my haste.

Bright idea: take tent off, drill new holes to move rails over, reload rtt and attach.
Take off hwy80 Halfway up Car fire near Kingvale traffic jam 1hour set back. Get to Reno High winds warning down 395 no trucks rv's or trailers. Got down to Topaz had wife check Death Valley morning report which said 10 mph wind the day before. Now saying 45 mph from sw. Figure coming off Telescope Peak funneling thru canyon not going to be fun, turnedaround came home.
Nice driving rhe truck for first long drive though.

    Hello Matt,

I just read this post. Sorry you are having a few hiccups... When you re-drilled the holes for the tent are you talking the base ones? The rails are lined up and drilled through the joists in the floor. If you moved them they could be off the joists and just have the aluminum sheets and foam holding it on. Just a little concerned... Hope all is well.

    Best regards,

    Bobby
