Hey guys and maybe some gals, my name is Brandon.
I am from Central New Jersey and looking for a new vehicle. I have been floating around on this site for a while now. I just registered a few days ago in order to seriously look for a Tacoma. I had several other trucks I've been looking at but keep coming back to this specific one.
So, I do not off-road at all. Since I do live in Jersey and we have the occasional snow storm, I do need 4 x 4. I like the look of the sport (color matching, hood scoop etc.) Black or Gray in color....so that is what I am focused on looking for...unless an off-road with the right looks and price comes along.
So please, if you or anyone/dealer in the tristate area is selling, help a new guy out;)

Anyway, in my travels I have found a few Tacomas that I really like. Here is a 2011 TRD sport for sale at a local dealer. Looking for some opinions on the price.
Keep in mind I do not like chrome, so chrome wheels, grill and runningboards would be swapped out for black. I do not have kids so the DVD player for the rear seats will be taken out. Everything else seems okay to me. Other than that I am concerned about the mileage. What are your opinions on the amount of miles on this truck currently compared to its lifespan.

Thank you in advance for all of your help, comments and opinions.

Welcome fellow central Jersey member. You definitely want the 4 wheel drive for the snow alone after the last few weeks we have had. I would be real curious what their real price is as opposed to what they posted. Given all the chrome accessories the price isn't out of wack. The mileage although a little high is nothing for these trucks. Given that you don't want the chrome and would be adding all black accessories yourself, have you looked at new ones? I have a 2013 4WD Double Cab TRD Sport and I paid just under 29k. So if you really don't want the accessories that are on the truck, and are a little worried about the miles for a few thousand more you can get a new one. Just a thought and again welcome aboard - when you do get one you'll love it.

I hear ya. I could do without the chrome but could use the sale of those parts to help pay for new black replacements.
The mileage was my main concern. I was hoping to find one with less than 20k, with a few accessories already on/in it. Double cab preferably.
I've been looking for new/used whatever catches my eye really.
    Thanks for the reply.
