So it's been snowing for a week straight down here in Prince Edward County south of Belleville. Every day the forecast has been 5-10cm or 15-20cm of snow with high winds, white outs, snow squall warnings, drifting snow, highway and road closures, etc. It's a mess.

I've had to go out and plow my lanes and parking area with my four wheeler every day. I ran out of places to put the snow, so I had a neighbour come by with his big-ass tractor and blower so that I could retrieve my compact tractor with loader out of the completely snow inundated drive shed out back, just so that I could move even more snow.

Last night we received another 10cms, and then to just to liven things up, another f*cking 10cms is on the way tonight. Now the nice set of wheels that I was gonna buy this spring are on hold, as I have to spend a couple of grand on a blower for my tractor, which is now parked behind my garage under, you guessed it, two feet of snow.

So today, after another day of plowing and moving snow, I celebrated by building a snowman, then I shot the f*cker. My dog, who is suffering from a severe case of cabin fever, then pissed on him.

Don't listen to him, I'm from a lot farther north in Canada and they are always whining about a bit of winter weather down there. When it hits -50 degrees then you can talk, as for snow that's why we have the snow machine....fun,fun,fun.

Yup , been dealing with the snow since early October . Only have about 5 feet of the white stuff as I type this . Can handle the snow , but 40-50 below every friggen day for the past 5 months has been fun . Good news is the groundhawg didnt see his shadow , so we have another 3 months before i can finally take the truck out of 4x4 and place the shifter back in 2 wheel drive .
    Cant wait :D

    I've lived up north.

    Whitehorse, Yukon
    North Bay, Ontario
    Valcartier, Quebec

... and have worked in Thompson, Manitoba and Fort McMurray, Alberta.

    Cold is not an issue...

I wasn't whining, I was ranting. It's plowing f*cking snow every day for two weeks that pissed me off.

I remember those days living in the "County" damn lake effect snow can be nasty.

I attached a picture of my Father inlaw who lives in Prince Edward County. Winds are causing some crazy drifting.
