First off I have a 2008 Tacoma SR5 4x4 AC. Local Junkyard has a 5 lugger he's parting out. I'm not too sure of the year, pre-2010 for sure. I want to say 2006. I wanted to trade my rear chrome bumper for the black one he has on the 5 lug, and I need the driver side front mudflap since mine broke off. Junkman says nope! The parts wont fit. That my rear bumper is wider than the one of the 5 lug, and the front mudflap is different too. I found one thread close to my question: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/83264-5-lug-6-lug-parts-interchange.html

    ..Didn't answer my question, though.

Anyone have any info for me?

    Thanks,

For sure the mudflap won't fit, the five lugs don't have the fender flares and are shaped differently. As for the rear bumper, a couple minutes with a tape measure is how I'd solve that one, but I expect it would fit. I looked at a few listings for new bumpers and they listed them as being for both 2wd five lugs and prerunners / 4x4s

Thanks man. I haven't seen the truck. My bud told me about it and I just called the guy. I'm gonna ride out there and see if I can prove him wrong on that bumper.
