Taco car seat/ceiling cleaner

Ok need help here, i had tried the oxyclean car fabric cleaner, to keep my seats looking clean with no luck. also i want to know what products you would recommend to clean the ceiling, and does it apply to the seats.

 

How did you get foot prints on the ceiling?

Oh my gosh... my mind went places it shouldn't with that comment! Ahahaha.. although.. some of the best times I've had has been in a vehicle! Woohoo..

 

do you really want to know, i was the chauffer of 5 eight year old boys who just came from a soccer competition. my poor "Diva"

That sucks.. I've never really had to clean the ceiling as of yet, so I'm not too sure.

Cleaning the ceiling... guess the would depend on the amount of force there was, eh? I mean.. with the foot...

 

for the head liner try a damp towl and rub lightly its worth a try

 

Try grease lightning it cleans everything I have to deal with even mud.

 

You could try RESOLVE fabric cleaner or just RESOLVE not to chauffer kids.

 

Should have put the little buggers in the back. That's what the tie-downs are for

 

ok guys, let's be serious here, my poor poor diva is suffering i did tried resolve no resolution .. wish i could do that flavalk, and i was so careful telling those boys to not touch anything aarrrrgh.... but my fellow taco owners if there's another way something that works, i would be forever grateful.

 

Enough of the kidding around. You can try all sorts of things, some will do more harm and make the situation much worse.

My strongest advice is to take this back to the dealer, as I am sure they have personal there in the new/used car reconditioning that will clear up the interior roof fabric without damaging it. If you dont wish to go that route, there are quite a few good detailers in your area that can take care of this. This obviously is the more expensive route, but its for the diva, so spare none.

This is advice from a professional detailer.

I haven't tried it on my Tacoma yet (only had it a week), but Folex worked well on my WRX seats (from a suggestion in a WRX forum, go figure), which look like black versions of the sport seats. It's a big trigger-spray bottle, and titled as a carpet spot remover. It's available at WalMart.

 

I would try a damp rag and soft brush first. I only use chemical cleaners when I have to.
