If you don't mind me asking in your thread. If so, i can delete this. But i figured lots of your people have probably used it.

SEAFOAM good, bad, indifferent? And how have people used it? Fuel tank, intake, crankcase? And if in the crankcase, how long did you wait to do an oil change afterwards?

    Thanks Colin.

I had the same problem last fall when I was in Louisville on the way home from a run trying to get some driveshaft work done.

The guy said he didn't have a way of mounting it in the lathe, so I went out to the truck and got a spare tcase output flange for him to use. You should have seen the look on his face! Priceless.

    say no to seafoam kids!

what are you trying to do, just clean out the system? if so, redline makes an additive that you proportionally mix into the fuel tank. Locuriorunner did some tests on the stuff and highly recommends it. Torspd introduced me to it after that. he can explain the stuff further, and in more detail than I can, so i'll let him see this and hopefully comment. Paging Mark :D

I can see why people get away from the 5mm air line that ARB supplies. Finding fittings for it sucks!

    TOO LATE!!!!

Oh well. I ran it yesterday at work. You took way to long to respond. I don't care if you have a fancy job that demands your attention, us TW peeps need info darn it!

I split the bottle in thirds. 1/3 in each: gas tank, intake (fogged), and crankcase. Planning on changing the oil within the next 2 weeks or so.

I originally bought a new kit with a thicker hose but it was short. I ended up getting one of Becky's spares, and went to swagelok here in la porte and bought new 1/8" fittings.. for a discount of course :spy:

and then after you find fittings, you discover that after a few heat cycles, or too much continual bending and un bending, that you crack the damn things.

    i sowy mastah :(

give this a shot instead next time. much healthier.

Well, I've found a supply of 5mm 90 push-to-fit connectors so that should help out with the bends. The plan is to come through the floor of the truck with push-to-fit unions. The 90's will keep the lines from hanging down too low.
