    I'm looking to hopefully find and replace the top (plastic) portion of my tailgate because of a nasty chunk that got taken out of it (I don't even remember how). I'm not sure what the part number is, so I was hoping someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction as I assume that if I had the part number, I could order a replacement through Toyota.

    Ah, perfect! #2 on that diagram is the piece I need, from what it looks like. And of course it costs more than the inner panel. :)

    Picked up the part today and installed it in 10 minutes - looks great. Now onto the more pressing matter of fixing paint scratches...
