I am considering installing a Toytec Lift:

3" LIFT KIT WITH BILSTEIN 5100 HEIGHT ADJ. COILOVERS
    Part Number TTHA-CK-AL

There seems to be disagreement on this forum about the need for new Upper Control Arms with a 3" lift. Some say it is required, some say it "Might" be required, and some say it is not needed (only for over 3" lift). Could someone please settle this for me before I drop $950 on this kit? I want to do this right. FYI it is going on a 2012 DCLB Sport that I just put 265-70-17 Toyo AT2 tires on the factory wheels.

    Thanks!

    Chris
