Hey guys, just wanted to throw up a review on the pop lock tail gate lock. PL5302 - 09-13 Toyota Tacoma with/without backup cam (Speedway Blue) .

Well for starters the color looks darker than the actual truck color itself. I just laid the pop lock on the hood of the truck and told myself hell no. So Im returning it for a black one. FYI dont get a color matched pop lock.

Havent seen anyone try the speedway blue pop lock so I did. Ill post pics later today when I get home.

    Hi,

I have or should I say had a speedway blue pop and lock. I kept it because I didn't have time before vacation to return for another one. Paint match wasn't too bad but it looked like a very quick rattle can job that would have benefited by a couple of more coats. I now have a black one because the paint peeled off confirming my thoughts that it was a quick rattle can application with out the use of an adhesion promoter. Certainly not worth the extra cost. My advice is to stick to black, paint it yourself if you want it color matched.

I kind of wanted one of these, but with all the negative stuff I've been reading on here lately I think I'll skip it.
