Blutooth/pandora issue...

Have a 13 taco with standard touch screen radio with blutooth, no entune or XM. Pandora works great with my DROID, comes in clear and sound. Buddy of mine just linked up his iphone to my car yesterday. When playing Pandora through his phone, the band and song info shows up on the display. Do droids not do this?

 

I don't know, but it seems that the stock head units tend to favor ipod/iphones, which may be why all that extra info is displayed with his phone. Had he plugged it you'd also get the album art displayed from pandora.

 

Lol...DROID DOESN'T.

Just kidding. I don't know, but my iPhone displays everything but album art when paired via Bluetooth...

 

I have an iPhone 5s and I get NO artwork....

 

Read some other threads and answered my own question. Looks like you just need to enable photo share in the settings on the factory unit.

 

Could you go into a little more detail on this? I just got a Note 3 and am having the same problem. I'm switching from a Galaxy S4 and it worked flawlessly but for some reason my Taco doesn't care for the Note. Thanks

 

I had no issues with my HTC Evo 3D that was a couple of years old, and again no issues when I switched over to a galaxy note 3 in Dec. Both are android phones. I would suggest trying the update if you have not done so.

Did he activate the player portion of the install also or did he just set it up as a phone. Several people have had this problem and it seemed to get fixed by deleting the phone then reinstalling it as both a phone and audio device. Can not hurt to try.
