Don't know about the LSD, but I'm using Redline 75W 90 NS in my diffs, transfer case, and transmission. My bro said it's what his race team used when racing SAE.

    Not in my tacoma personally...
But I've used Amsoil Severe Gear in our Corvette w/ LSD. It has friction modifier in it already.

**double check that its compatible with the tacoma LSD**

I use Valvoline 75w-90 and add 4.0 oz. of this:[IMG]
I've heard too many times that putting a synthetic gear oil in the lsd causes problems--chattering. If you change it at the recommended interval (15k) a dino oil will be just fine. You can get the Valvoline gear oil for $5.99 a quart at Kragen. It takes 3 quarts plus the 40z. of additive.
