Bypass Parking Brake for DVD Head Unit

    Then use the power and lead pins for your ground and parking brake wire from the head unit. Doesn't matter which way.

    I saw this post a while back and thought I'd give my two cents on the bypass. I searched online like crazy trying to figure out how to bypass my pioneer and tried the relay trick with no luck. I bought the x5500bhs. I talked with a friend who does installs at Best Buy and he said that there is a bypass that does 2 PULSES now instead of the relay that does 1 pulse. He said www.DIYBypass.com has them for all of the new Pioneer radios since they changed the bypass feature, so that's where I went. I ended up buying from Amazon because I have Amazon Prime. Man I'm glad I finally got it figured out. Learn from my mistake. Go get the bypass before you try all of that relay trick crap you see on youtube. The new models don't work with the relay!
