ok so i noticed that I have small nicks on my rims around the lug nut holes. It's pretty obvious that technician are dinging my rims with impact wrench when rotating my tires.

I'll try and get pics up soon. So I plan to make a complaint but what should I expect as the solution?

I never got my truck back while using "toyota care" in the same shape that I dropped it off. I had nicks on all of the wheels along with a few rounded lug nuts. I'm sure you can get them repaired if you complain but personally I gave up and haven't returned.

    All 4?! That sucks.
Dealer nicked one of my wheels rotating them. They offered to have it repainted but reluctantly gave me a check for $100. I prefer the nick over a crappy repaint. Good luck.

yeah, all 4 rims have at least 2 nicks each right outside the nut hole.

    Sucks.

My damage was at 15,000 miles (BTW, they "forgot" to replace the oil filter on that same visit). I'm glad I checked all their work before driving away. I've skipped on the "free" Toyota Care maintenance after that. Faster and less headache to do it yourself.

This is by far the smartest solution. I wish I would have done that before leaving the dealership (Toyota of Riverside) with only 3 lugnuts on one of my wheels after an oil change....I can't forget about the knicks on my anondized bronze wheels from them either.

Someone else posted about this a couple weeks ago... After much hassle they replaced all 4 of his aftermarket rims.

Ok so had my truck in for locked brakes and I showed the service rep the knicks. He said they could refinish them and he smiled when I scoffed at him. He then said he has to show the pictures ot the manager but I'll probably be getting new rims. I have to take it back next week for service and they'll take care of it then.
