    A little background info:

So my "new to me" 97 taco 3.4 4x4 has been nothing but trouble from the start. No start condition, fried ECM was repaired by an automotive electrician (no junkyard around here has one). Still doesn't start! Has strong spark, timing's right, fuel pressure's reading 44psi before fuel rail. When I spray starting fluid it it'll run perfect (as long as I keep spraying) so I'm now leaning toward fuel injectors. I pulled them out and 5/6 bottom seals were broken so I looked online for a seal kit when I ran across this:

    "BUYER BEWARE:
The 1995-1998 3.4L 5VZFE engine is known for having fuel injector related issues. The factory injector coil winding tends to short out which causes misfires and it eventually fails. That is the stumble and or hesitation you feel. This is a well known issue within the Tacoma 3.4L 5VZFE community. This is why WE DO NOT RECOMMEND the use of the beige/grey top factory (23250-62030) injector as a replacement."

    Here's the link - http://www.dragtimes.com/parts/Toyota-Tacoma-4runner-T100-3-4L-5VZFE-5VZ-Fuel-Injectors-Direct-Replacements_201039168098.html

Now I searched online (google/bing) and couldn't find discussions on this subject and was wondering if anyone can confirm this or is this just a sales pitch from this company? I have those beige/grey injectors (23250-62030) and would rather not put in work cleaning them and buying new seal kits if they're gonna crap out on me. Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks in advance!!

Is there a Toyota dealer near?
Their parts or service people should have the answer.

I need to stop there tomorrow and was gonna ask them but thought I'd check the community first for some first hand experience.
