    We picked up a car in Des Moines, but we got back last Saturday morning. I took dad to the hand surgeon and he's going for surgery on Monday, my sister is sore but was able to go home. I'm pissed at the hospital because they put my mom in a soft cast, some type of boot that allows her to move the ankle around, and no crutches. Wtf? She is also having a hard time getting the insurance company to cover it, so we may have no option but to sue CVS.

    I'm luckily back to work today, but it looks like the family is on a good path to recovery. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the support guys. I told mom that she had people from all over praying and asking about us, and she started crying and wanted me to pass along the gratitude.

    glad even this type of interaction between people is even possible to happen. good to know the road has started to go downhill, long as it may be,the :crapstorm: is almost over. at least the whole family will be home for a bit to spend time together, with out hurryin back to work
