Really? You must have gotten a lucky set.

Mine lasted 11 months, and the pair I gave my friend for Christmas lasted 7-8 months.

Hella replied that it's a supplier issue, so I contacted Amazon. We will see what happens.

IT/Tech Question: I live in an area with terrible cell reception on all carriers. In the house the basement is a given, and throughout the house 1 bar is all that is possible. Is there a way to boost the signal in the house on all phones.

I have Never used one but they do make microcells for individual carriers... You have to have carrier permission it seems to use devices like this.

 

Any liquor store with a brain will have it in stock

 

x2, lots of bars have it on tap I've noticed also.

 

My house is similar, except short of standing outside you can't make voice calls, only send texts when you put your phone on the window sill. We looked into those cell phone booster things after about a month of living here. Just ended up getting a land line, it was really the only cost effective and guaranteed to work thing to do.

 

Did you disassemble the fog lamp to do it?

I'd love to do that, but it's got a relatively small margin for error it seems. I'm going to get brave and paint my headlamps this spring, maybe I'll get braver and pry the fogs apart. I need to determine what my bumper situation will be and then go from there.

 

I don't know what the 2012+ fogs are like but the 2005 thru 2011 fogs didn't come apart like the headlights. To get them apart, you had to cut them with a hack saw.

The first set I had is still good. Only on a second set because I didn't realize the wiring was bad. Think those are on 18 months.

 

Been working on a Satoshi grille for my truck. Gotta repaint the silver on my grille and the black on the toyota badge. Toyota badge is off a late 80's or early 90's pickup or 4runner. Blue is Speedway Blue Metallic.
