I've used Seafoam for a long time and I think it's a great product.

I've read some posts where people say to pour (or pull?) it into the vacuum system via the brake booster and I'm wondering why???

In other words, what does that method do for your motor that just pouring Seafoam in your gas tank does not?

This ^^^. But be careful doing it.. You don't want to hydro lock your engine.. That brake booster has a lot of suction. You may get a check engine light for a misfire in one or more of the cylinders.. After your done with thr sea foam, drive your car hard for a few miles to finish burning thr rest of that crap out. Then go to an auto parts store and clear the code/ check engine light.
