Hi all. New to tacomaworld. Previously owned a 4runner and gx470.

I'm looking to buy a taco today. Local tampa dealer has a 2014 pre runner, short bed, dbl cab, v6, sr5, alloy rims, magnetic gray metallic, gray pleather, tow package with 1200 miles on it. Says msrp was approx $29.8k. Says he'll sell it for $27k plus tax, title, tag. Or I can get a brand new, same exact spec for same price. Obviously for same price ill get a new one. I'm wondering what you all think I should offer on the used one. I know these cars hold value but if I can save a few grand on a 1200 mile example, why not?

    Thanks for any opinions/advice!

I would wonder whats wrong with the one with only 1200 miles. Was it a demo version or something? Dont know why someone would get rid of it with only 1200 miles unless someone just hated it.

Thats a good price either way. Offer them a couple thousand less on the used one. I believe $1000 on a five year loan is about $20 a month. So if you could get $20-$40 less a month on your payment, you'll be stylin.

Sounds like the msrp is about 1300 high. Check the build first; I configured the same thing w/o the pleather or alloys for about 28500 incl freight, on the toyota configurator incl sr5, entune radio and tow package.
Dont see an option on the Toy configurator for the pleather/alloys with sr5, so it may be aftermarket/dealer installed;make sure you want non-fabric in the Fl. climate.
    Good luck

Thanks for the welcome and responses from all. My original thought was 27k out the door and be done with it. All my cars have been leather in fl and have never been an issue. I'll try to get it done and post a pic thanks again!
