I was on the Bushwhacker website a few days ago looking at the flares for my truck when I noticed the bumper on this one has a cover of some sort on it with bolts. It looks like it is just a cover to match up with the fenders from bushwacker. I have looked all over and can not seem to find anything on it.

I emailed bushwacker and they said it is something offered through Toyota dealerships. Has anyone ever seen or heard of something like this?

The part is called a front bumper under gaurd. It has to be ordered through Southeast Toyota Distributors. The part #00016-35009. It comes with all mounting hardware. Just got my local dealer to order it for me. $130.00

Is this a metal piece or plastic. The stock lower valence is plastic (pvc).

Have not been able to find much research on it, it just says to protect your lower bumper from rocks and chips is the description.
