So I been trying to install this back up camera for a few days now and can't seem to get it, maybe someone here could help!

    So I got this camera ( http://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics®-T...id=1394340230&sr=8-1&keywords=taotronics+cc17)

And a pioneer x5500BHS HU. The head unit it self has a purple and white wire that was supposed to be attached to the shifter wires in the shift case. I can't seem to figure out which wire the HU is supposed to be connect to. I thought it was the Green wire but no luck. It works partially, but when im listening to the radio or bluetooth, every few seconds it will try to turn on the camera and it was say caution camera may revered an have to tap it to go away and it continues to pop up. I have the black and red wire taped into the reverse lights

Any idea on how to fix? thanks.

My backup camera instructions said to tap into your backup lights. I did not do that. I ran it through a switch so I can turn it on anytime.

Also I have a break bypass installed. Think it might have something to do with it...
