    The trans will go into park with out the slightest grind if the back wheels are not turning (ice and locked brakes). If it's not BS the only real answer is ice or the other car backed into him. People many times will not stop even if they know there is damage when rear ended because they fear that it was on purpose to lure them out of the car. My drive way is steep and no surprise covered with ice. I have been stopped brakes on while I shoveled sand and had the truck slide down the hill to the point I had to get out of the way, pretty common.

    Maybe the car in front of me did roll backwards, and I just felt like I was rolling forward. I guess it's possible! I'm not trolling or making shit up! I love my truck,I joined here when I first bought it to learn more about it, from people that have had Toyota's before. I know it sounds crazy, and more then likely, the person in front of me did roll back into me and I just felt like I was moving! That seems to make the most sense.I just remember someone saying something awhile back about, when they were putting their Tacoma in the garage it suddenly lunged forward, that, and the Toyota unintended acceleration fiasco,I thought I would see what you guys thought! I'm not trolling or bashing Toyota & I wasn't drunk or high! I'm here for advice,to learn more about my truck, and to help other people if I can, not make up stories or troll.Thank You for your responses, and all your advice.
