Fab Fours pre-runner front/rear bumper, Anzo projector Head/tail/3rd brake lights. JL door speakers, JL amp, JL StealthBox (center console), Double din aftermarket deck. Weather tech floor mats, SOS Concept Sliders, 3” lift, steel skid plate, Fuel 20x10 wheels, 285 tires, low profile steel bed rail and tailgate caps, K/N high flow intake, Warn winch, and so much more.
So I ordered this Fab Fours bumper yesterday at an off-road exhibition: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009FQZL0O/ref=aw_ls__3?colid=2BGI7YVI333R2&coliid=I7JNZ70I6YZ7D
When I purchased the guy said that I would need to do a leveling kit once installed. The shipping weight is 240 lbs.
I was planning on doing a 3" lift anyway but I was wondering if a level was necessary. I don't know anything about lifts. Is a level and a lift essentially the same? Also, can you guys recommend a good lift kit? I broke the bank with the bumper and don't really want to do it again with the lift but I want something good that won't require re-gearing or any other major changes (for now). Thanks!!

The cheap/easy way to go is get Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. the highest lift with those is about 2.5 inches, but with the weight of that bumper you will probably sit at about 2" lift. http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Front-height-Adjustable-5100-Bilstein-Shocks_p_21.html Do not get front spacers. They are bad for your truck, you, your community etc. and you will be shunned.

Edit: if you go any more than 2" lift you will most likely need aftermarket upper control arms to get your alignment correct. A lot of people do not do this though.

What???!! Spacers aren't a real lift? Lol. I wouldn't dream of it. I know enough to not put that crap on my truck.
What exactly are upper control arms and why are they needed for a more than 2" lift? I am a noob when it comes to my truck (even though I've had it since 06)

Simply put, it you run out of adjustment on your castor with the stock upper control arms. Aftermarket ones like Light Racing, camburg, total chaos etc. are build with this in mind and add castor. Do some searches in the suspension forum. In fact, the very first sticky will probably answer all of your questions.
