Hey all need some advise from the pros. I have a set of Ultra rims and they are flat black with a small aluminum decoration near the edge of the rim. These aluminum decorations are bare and has no coating. Even thou the manufactures say these rims are great for all weather I have noticed a severe discoloration and some small pitting only after a year of having them. I have used metal cleaners a few times last year and they work great but took me around 4 hours a rim to clean and with time constraints these days I was thinking of getting a dremel with a flex extention so I can get in all the cracks and all the cleaning pads and go at it. My question is am I going about this all wrong and by taking the power tool route. will post a pic of the rim when I first got it, sorry no new pics of the grime and pitting.

Wont let me post the pic on the thread but I do have pics of my rims under my photos in my gallery.

Can you get some close up picks of the area? What type of metal cleaner are you using? What are you sealing the metal with after you polish?
