Shortening a 2nd generations access cab's wheelbase by 14 to 18 inches

    Has anyone tried to shorten the wheelbase of a second gen tacoma, access cab by around 14-18 inches?

    If so, what do you have to do to make that modification possible? Do you have to get new suspensions, new fuel tank, new exhaust system?
