I have a 2008 DCLB, does anyone know how the wires are run to the dome light? I am installing LED lights in the bed of my truck and would like to hook them up to the dome light.

Front dome light added, light reminder added, door chime mod, added 2nd gen 4runner headrests, grey wire mod, 2lo mod, more later.
Probably up the drivers side post and above the headliner. Most dome lights work off of ground, simply put when you open your door the plunger in the door jam grounds completing circuit, same thing when you turn on your dome switch.

Yup, that's exactly how they are ran. There is a keyed hot wire that goes to the tow hitch that would be a better place to get juice for lights, or better yet just run a new wire.
