Greetings from Mpls/Northen Mn! Bought my 2002 trd in 2010, with 150,000
on it. Wasn"t sure if it was the right move at the time, and that lasted for about a year. Now we"re BUDS! Tires were worn, and I bought a set of Dunlop Rovers. I ice fish
and go on back woods minimum maintenance roads. HELLO! What was I thinking! Well, I got stuck (thought I was going thru the ice) and made the decision for new tires. Obviously, this is why I needed to join up. Don"t know,
nor care about souping up my truck. Just want general advice to make it last and to be a better outdoor truck for years to come. Thanx Folks.

Sorry, the tires were street tires, not a/t

4x4? My 4x2 2000 was always a little light in the rear and loved to spin the tires and get stuck while pulling my little boat trailer in sand or mud. I would recommend some block tread tires. "Knobbys" for your application, on a second set of wheels. I used a set for 90% of my driving on the street and a different set for fishing and mud.
