I did search this a little, but I really didn't spend a lot of time on this, but my right side mirror is lose on my 05. It's not the glass or the electric motor, but it seems to be in the folding pivot. There is a torx screw under there, but that doesn't help tighten it. Any ideas???

Are they stock mirrors? Were they changed to aftermarket at some point? Replaced?

Have you taken it apart the whole mirror at anytime? I'd do that. Something could be broken on the inside or loose.

I have not, not really sure how to... It's for sure in the pivot for folding the mirror in to words the door...

There is a video on youtube about someone taking the mirrors apart and putting them back together.

If you take the cover off the bottom there's 3 torx to check. After that take the glass off and then remove the motors with Philips. You'll now have access to the frame and shell screws. If those don't fix the rattles. Might be the cast aluminum is broken inside
