Highway: you will cruise in 5th gear, but to accelerate, or go up at any grade while maintaining speed, plan to drop down to 4th gear. it's good to actually shift it to 4th as well, or selse it will ride that halfway point between gears by working the torque converter. do keep in mind however, that my truck is heavier and less aerodynamic than yours, so you'll eb a little better off than me.

wheeling: Plenty of power. only thing to be aware of is that you have to be very gentle with the throttle when crawling, because even in 4-low, with stock gears, it'll jump forward pretty quick.

so really, 5th gear on the highway, and throttle control while wheeling at low speeds are the only things to worry about.

i'm not keeping stock gearing. they're only still in because i don't want to have to tear the diffs apart to regear, and then again to do lockers.

Colin, how do you deal with mirrored/reversed images on your trail cams?

Well that's just too easy. I'm also trying to find cameras that don't have the grid lines in them, can't stand that.

i hated the grid at first, but have actually come to use it. not for scale so much, but it really helps when i'm crawling. i can pretty much jsut drive the right line by only looking at the screen. grid lines just help me keep it straight. nice refference point to have. but yeah, pretty useless for the under-vehicle cams.

And I have no idea what's going to show up in the box. There should be two cameras included, but who knows.

Yeah, can't do it. If they had a paypal option instead of western union I might go for it. My cc gets stolen often enough and I just got the new one and don't feel like updating all of my payments.

I'll have to find another option.

yeah, i run away from anywhere that uses western union.

i have an extra 7'' monitor you can use. has the mirror button and all. you just have to get or make the toggle setup to go between cameras.

I don't have a line on co2 tanks, but they're readily available from your local fire department supply. They usually have used tanks that have been re-certified.

I'll look into the toggle system. I'll just have to figure out a place to mount it. I'm kind of anal about putting holes in the dash. :D

Do you have a line on the multiple input box, or is that something you made?

    Ram mount!!! :D

i just stuck one of these under the steering column to switch between cameras. monitor has 2 video chanels, so with two of these, you can run up to 6 cameras. with just one and thne 2nd channel, you can run 4.

Well that's certainly cheap enough. So you just run the video cable, right?

lol, i was pleasantly surprised when i found it. and yep, i power each camera and the monitor off of a single fuse, and then just run the video line to the splitter.

The other, more expensive option, would be to have a switch for each camera. Connect all of the video feeds into a cable splitter. Whichever cam has power is the one that will display on the screen.
