tire weight and gas mileage

    Can anyone tell me roughly how much effect tire weight has on mpg?

    If all else is equal as in a 265/70 r16 passenger vs Lt tire in the same tread/model/brand with roughly a 10 lb difference in weight, how much would you expect mpg to drop? More or less on the highway vs in town?
