Just bought a 2014 TRD Off-Road, access cab, 4x4, 6-speed after selling my '98 T100 SR5. First new vehicle I have owned. Went looking for something used and realized its cheaper to buy a new Toyota in the long run. Already put a good dent in the skid plate, but I figure thats what its there for. I plan on having this truck for quite some time and I am planning on slowly adding to it. Its going to be my daily driver and I'll be hauling around everything from snowboards and mountain bikes to canoes and firewood. Pretty much going to live out of it.

I think the first big improvement is to get some rock sliders/side steps. I am looking for something lightweight but sturdy enough to take some bashing for the frame.

I am debating on a full on plate bumper down the road or just something with a light bar on it. I like the look of the behind the grille lights too. Not sure how fancy I want to get. I prefer things simple and functional.

Still haven't decided on a lift or not. I had a 3in in the T100 and I liked having the little extra clearance and the more aggressive look. I would stick with the factory wheels and put on some bigger tires. Only thing that I'm hesitant about is the shocks. I paid extra for the Off-Road package and the shocks that came with that, maybe just pay it off a bit more before I start doing anything too crazy .

Welcome. I have the OEM running boards but they are useless except for looks. Couldn't go too big on the tires without a lift so not there yet myself. Beware, this site can be expensive.

that's the exact truck i want. i'll be trading in my 2012 reg.cab for this same model. what did you pay for her if you don't mind me asking?

the gf wanted that same color and at first i was hesitant but it really grew on me in the last couple of weeks. i plan to do a simple build like on my reg.cab...along the lines of this below.

to vrod 671, just a hair over 30k. I looked around for the exact one not really caring about color and this was the ONLY one like it in the state that I could get without having one made. The color has definitely grown on me. Hides dirt well, lol.
