Ranch Topper, Bull Bar.....Yes, I know everyone thinks they are crap, I like the look
I'm considering changing the wheels on my truck.
    Wanted Texas Edition rims(2014).
    Cannot find any.
Was offered one set but tires were way to big.
Found one set on ebay...I thought it was too much.

I started looking around and came across these Tundra rims(first picture).
They reminded me of some rims I saw at Discount Tire that I liked but only came in black or chrome (I'm not a fan of the blacked out rim/tire look).
This lead me to these Chevy Silverado 18" rims (picture 2 & 3).

Anyone ever try this Chevy rim swap.
Chevy rims are 18x8.8 with offset of 24.
What problems would I run into?

    What about the Tacoma rims.
Wheel size the same as current Tacoma rims.
Will TPMS match up be a problem?

Want to put them on this truck....(picture 4)

    Thanks,

How about the lug Pattern which I think is the same but the Lug Studs and nuts are a different size.

Toyota is Hub Centric for centering the wheels on the hubs. I'm pretty sure Chevy is Lug Centric. Also the center hole sizes may not work as the Chevy uses a 78 mm hole vs the 106 mm for Toyota, so OEM Chevy wheels will not fit our trucks.

I'd would rather walk than have Chevy Wheels on my truck, but that is just me.

I dont think they fit because of the center hole like jimmyh said, i think chevys can run toyota rims but not the other way around. A lot of people around me use wheel adaptors but i have herd a lot of bad things about them. I wish we could fit the chevy six lug i would get 18-20 cadillac rims.
