I'm trying to figure out if I can instal a stock temp/compas guage in the over head consol of my 2010, V6 Access cab SR5. It does currently have the sensor up in front of the radiator.

I've been looking on-line looking for a while and have search this forum thouroughly. I have found a few guages for sale, and some info on the instal, but only for Tacos up to an '08. I have also found info that states that the '05-'08 guage will not work with '09 or newer Tacomas.

So my question to y'all is: If my truck appears to be wired to plug in this Temp/Compas guage thing, then why can't I find anything about how to do it. In fact, I can't find one for sale anywhere....?

I'm hoping to figure this out before I'm left with no other option than to call a dealership. I really don't want to wade throught that BS.

    Thanks everyone!

Ok, so no knowledge here for this sort of thing.

Anyone know where I might be able to find this sort of info?

    Thanks

    too many to list
what do you have in place of the compass/Temp right now. I have a 2011 with the temp and compass and I am looking to change to show mine in the mirror soon and may be interested in a trade and maybe a few bucks for your over head console.

I believe it's a place to put a garage door opener, and of course the sunglasses holder thing to the rear of the map lights.

I would also be interested in a trade with some cash on my end.

Did you ever get a compass temp gauge added to your 2010?
