I'm trying to mount these adjustable mirrors, the one with the turn handle tightner. Instructions say, install jam nuts?? Parts are not labeled and if anyone could help on better instructions, I would appreciate it

I think the jam nuts are for the 3 little feet that go onto the backside of the mirror. Some of the mirrors already have the feet already put together.

Just line up the mirror, then measure out how much you need to stick out each foot, and adjust accordingly. I think I have one of the 3 sticking out more than the others (on each side). When you have that figured out, put the straps in the top/bottom and just turn the knob.
