Seems the more I read the more confused I get as to what to set the front adjustable Billies at
Too many threads read w too many variables so I thought I would throw my specific situation out there and see what you all think.

I am the NEW proud owner of a 2006 DCLB 4x4 TRD Sport with 54,000 miles and all stock suspension.
I have purchased a full set (4) of Bilstein 5100s to upgrade the stock rusted out shocks. Took measurements on level ground Pre-Install measurements: RF, LF, RR, & LR all at 36.5"

I would like to keep the truck level.
Have been leaning toward 0.85" setting on the fronts (seems to be the general consensus on a lot of threads) but wasn't sure if 0.0" might be best since all measurements are equal now.

My plan is to drop it off at my mechanics & have him give it a good once over and dump & replace all fluids as needed, and replace the shocks.
My question is.......what setting should I have them install the shocks at?????

    Thanks

Well, if you're already the same all the way around then 0" setting. Sounds like it's already got a leveling kit or something on it. Unless the factory rear leafs are worn out.

Satoshi, debadged, rear view mirror bracket, tail gate hose clamps, trimmed mud flaps.
If the truck is level now, I would think the rear leafs are worn out. Must have been used as a work truck. I have about the same mileage but I don't haul much and I still have rake.

If that is the case, you may want to replace the leafs as well. In a new stock set up, you should have about 1" to 1.5" of rake.

What is your end goal? To lift a couple inches, or stay at stock height (while leveling the front)?

If you want stock height (while leveling the front), replace the leafs, and put billies all round with the front at .85".

If you want to lift a little, depends on how much lift you want.

OP Get some pictures of the suspension and post them on here. We can see what suspension you have on there. I just measured mine. I have 1.75" lift on the front plus .5" for an inch larger tire and measure 36.5". In the rear I'm measuring 38.25" with 1" lift and .5" for tire.

measure the distance from the center of wheel to the bottom of fender flare...........

use floor jack to lift the front or rear of the truck to a height u like.

measure the same spot, calculate how much u just unloaded the suspension. Theres your desired lift number.
