need help with touch screen deck

a little background on the truck.
09 TRD double cab. i bought it used so the radio that is in it came with it.

its a touch screen from soundstorm. its Bluetooth capable and can play DVD's....if it would work right.

i decided to take it out one day to see if there was a USB plug in the back so i could just run my phone charger straight from the back. i unplugged it and looked on the back and found that it didnt have any other connections beside the antenna and the wiring harness. I did not in any way mess with the wires beside unplugging them

the crazy thing is that when i plugged it all back in and then put back all the surroundings it worked. couple hours later the screen didnt turn on but the radio would still play.

i can still use the radio and the auxiliary cable but the screen doesnt work. its still responsive though. i can touch on the screen where the radio settings is and it will still flip through the channels.

the even crazier part is that every now and then (usually when its real cold) the screen will randomly turn on.

i have taken it out one more time just to see if i messed up any wires but nothing looks unplugged/lose or damaged so i really dont know what to do


anyone have any idea of whats wrong?


i should probably add that i cannot find it on any website and it didnt come with the owners manual
