Been looking into Tacomas for a while and finally decided to ask around for other peoples advice. Was wondering what ppl suggest getting with all of the TRD's Off road, sport, base etc out there.

Wouldn't be taking this truck off road to often but you never know right?

Have a list of Questions that some might be able to give me a little direction of help.

Idea of What I'm looking for- White Double Cap long box V6 Auto or MAN. Maybe a lift, tinted windows, new wheels and tires etc.

    1. Is it worth it buying brand new or used?
    2. Is there any talk of the Tacomas being redone in the next few years? Pretty much the same truck the last few years (nothing wrong with that IMO)
    3. What type and size of lifts are suggested, BL VS Full suspension, etc
    4. Bonus For WA state ppl-Best Area to shop from dealer?

    Thanks!

History would say....the 1st generation trucks went from 95.5 to 2004. That's about 10 years. The 2nd gen started in 2005.... Nobody really knows when the 3rd generation is coming out - but I'm sure it will be in the next few years (based on past history).

Used trucks hold their resale value. Depending on the 'age' will depend on how close to 'new' pricing it will be. If you can afford NEW - get NEW. You'll have less 'unknowns' with a new truck.

They don't make a double cab, long box, manual trans truck.
That's why I'll be getting an access cab.

What would you suggest for a 4Door- Is the Sport or Off Road Worth the money? Wouldn't be going wheeling often, really more so a second Nicer Vehicle.
