    Howzit taco Florida owners! My girl got into the Disney College Program for the Fall season so we will be moving to Orlando in early August! We've rented an apartment by Disneyworld, right off the I4. And we will be shipping my dad's 05 Tacoma 4x4 6 speed manual access cab with just about 90,000miles over there as SOLID transportation, and plan to sell it at the end to avoid shipping it back. (so let me know if anyone is interested in january 2015) :D lol


    Trouble is, the last time I've been to florida was over 12 years ago(when I was like 10) so I haven't seen the area in quite a while.

    How is the Orlando area? Pretty safe? I know everywhere has its share of crime, but I know some places are more dangerous than others. Are there specific areas that we should stay out of?

    From one taco owner to another, I just wanted to check in with ya Florida locals to gain as much knowledge about Orlando as we can, before we get there.

    disney areas seem to be pretty safe, just dont leave anything insight when you park your truck, being that its a tourist area there are a fair share or car break-ins.

    but besides that welcome to florida, and good luck with I4 traffic

    Do cops pull people over in orlando for having HIDs in their headlights? It's illegal in Hawaii, but cops don't care. Many cops in Hawaii have HIDs in their subsidized cars... Wondering if that's the same in Florida.

    No one gets pulled over for lights in florida. Wish they did though, I hate those blue hid lights.
