lol I was sore for a week after that race. I said "fuck that, Im not doing this next year" a week later I signed up for it again, determined to beat my time hopefully by 30 mins or more.

Did chest n bis this morning. #internationalchestday

I feel like if I do tris on a different day as chest I can push each one a little harder. I upped my PR on flat bench by 10lbs today. It felt great! If I had a spotter I probably could have done more.

me too. The older ones kinda seemed like amateur prints. These new ones are sweet

this stadium sprint had the burpee count at 30.I volunteered at the 1st shift so I got to watch the Elite heat...Kinda felt like a dick since one of the pros accidentally skipped part of one obstacle, I had to make him do burpees, and he went from 3rd to 5th haha

The sprint last year turned out to be a little over 5, IIRC. No idea how long this one was since it was in a stadium, all I know is FUCK STAIRS HOLY SHIT MY CALVES. lol

And In august they're running a "Trifecta weekend" where they run all three races every day for the weekend, so I'm going for my trifecta by running the Beast on saturday and the Super on sunday :anonymous:

then ill be done with moving, for a long long time

Not as bad as a beast but still. Ice bath afterwards and lots of sleeping.

Ya'll are crazy as hell! If you ever see me running outside, I've either run out of gas or bullets!

How many servings of fresh vegetables does everyone eat per day? Not including stuff like beans, potatoes, etc....like fresh produce

That's how I feel about them, too. I try to eat 2 salads a day, but after the first one, I'm always like, "fuck that....that's plenty"

I can eat salads all day. But they have to have ranch, bacon, cheese, egg, sunflower seeds, more bacon, salt and pepper and croutons.

I can tolerate about 1 a day, so I try to load it down with a lot of stuff. Usually carrots, cucumbers, green olives, broccoli, shredded cheese, and 2 tbsp. Olive Garden italian dressing. I didn't think of all that other good stuff...might have to add it all in too, especially the bacon, pepper, croutons, and sunflower seeds. After my 1 salad, I can't make myself eat another one lol. I just pop a multi every morning and night and hope I'm getting enough micronutrients.

ha I usually never eat any green stuff, but I've been trying to fine-tune my diet here lately and decided to throw in a salad. I hate it. I'd much rather stick to my canned whole potatoes and beans.

As for veggies I use to be pretty good about have at least one serving a day but Ive been not so good lately. My wife did make some awesome stir fry last night but I had to shit immediately afterwards...haha

I normally just add a scoop of amazing grass brand wheat grass into my protein shake.

Yep, Burnet. The ranch they have the race on is amazing. If you have the chance Id say its worth it to pay the 20 bucks to get into the event and just hang out and have a couple beers.
