Best turbo diesel engine for build?

Hey, i'm new to the yota community but i recently purchased a 94 pickup (extended cab, 22re) and plan on making it a long travel truck. I love my 22re and love never having to worry about it too much but i kinda of have a thing for turbo diesels. My question is, what is the best turbo diesel to swap for better torque and acceleration? Only interested in 4 and 6 cylinders, thanks. (and please just give me an awnser instead of "refer to sticky" or something)
