My 05 DCSB "Bargain Build"

Until I came across this site I intended to leave my truck stock. First I found out how weak the leaf springs were and the only way to fix that would result in a lift so I searched a while on what to do. I continuously watch here and craigslist for parts and finally came across some on craigslist. Yes its a prerunner and a daily pavement pounder.

Wheelers 3 leaf pack: $60
Daystar front spacer kit: $40
New take-off bilsteins: $150
This got me around 2.5" of lift all around leaving the overload in place.

I also installed a pioneer double din I got used from my brother for a good price and also re-did my arm rest panels in black vinyl. I then built a sub box because I wanted a box that fit in the passenger storage cubby so it would have more airspace than the driver side.

Box came out to .95 cubic feet for the kicker 10" comp 40 cwrt 102, and it sounds awesome!

Then found a guy on craigslist that recently bought a 1st gen that had aftermarket wheels on it and he wanted stocks. So we met up and swapped wheels and I think they look great!
