    Hey Teskew

I was looking for the same info from EDRIN55, but never got a response. If you find out any good size tire and lift combination...let me know.

    Thanks

    Hey Vegas,

The reason I asked was because I test drove a 2008 4x4 with new BFGs at 285s and the tires just roared and cause a slight vibration in the steering wheel. Now the truck also had a 3" spacer lift but it was still roaring pretty bad. The used I bought truck is completely stock with 265/65/17, but I want to go alittle bigger tire with a slight lift. It handles amazing and I don't want to lose to much on the ride. I just wished the BFGs didn't start only coming in 10 ply. I understand a little roar, but i had 315s on a dodge 2500 and they were great tires with no roar but the truck was heavy. I just want to get best tires with minimum impact on the truck, low road noise and long life. I think BFGs are the way to go but I'm not sure because I have never drove a truck this small.

Any input for anyone would be greatly appeciated.

I would post a new thread specifically on that topic. I still have the standard build so wouldn't know. Would like to get there some day!!!

I will start a new thread. I still have a stock truck I just bought it 2 weeks ago. My plans are to buy new Mamba m7 17x9 gray wheels with BFG ATs 265/70/17 and get bilstiens all around set at 0.85 or 1.75 in the front. My concerns are road noise and overall ride because I don't want to lose too my of the nice ride. Also I am wondering if the 17x9 wheels are too wide for the tires but I just love the look of those gray wheels.
