Ok so here recently when I press my brakes my right turn signal lights up solid. Never did this before and its kind of intermittent. Bulbs are all good, checked my trailer harness and it looks fine. Truck can be completely off and when I hit the brakes all the right side turn signals come on and stays solid until the brake is released.

When I turn the right signal on you can here the brake sensor on my gear shifter clicks . Clearly the brakes and right turn signal are feeding off of each other

Any body run into this problem, Think I might just cut the trailer harness off and see if my problem still exists.

Edit: I also have all LEDS throughout the truck, and replaced the relay for the hyper flash. Removed relay and it still happens with the turn signal

Check the wiring loom from the lights forward, if that is good then its probably the turn signal cam in the steering column.

Front dome light added, light reminder added, door chime mod, added 2nd gen 4runner headrests, grey wire mod, 2lo mod, more later.
My guess is the convertor box for your trlr tow package has failed and it's sending power to the turn signal circuit when brakes are applied a buddy of mine had this prob with a 4runner but his park lights were coming on when brake was applied.Id take out the convertor box and start there.

This is it. Had the exact same problem in my 2001 tacoma. My truck would pop fuses and do all sorts of crazy stuf with regard to the lights.
It was a fault in the trailer wiring converter inside the taillight usually. Very easy fix! Pm me if u need a walk through!

I've got a U-haul wiring harness that's wired into my brake lights, I'll cut it off tomorrow and see if it fixes my problem. Thanks guys
