Anyone has an idea if the value of the truck would go up after replacing the frame? Weighing my options.
Wondering if there are people with experience on this.
    Thanks

I don't have any experience with this, but I would certainly think a truck with a new frame is worth a lot more than one that is rusted out. If I had to buy I would pay most for a truck with good original frame, then a replaced frame, and would not even look at a rusted framed truck.

It'll be worth more on the private market. A dealer will only give you what the NADA listed value is. They will do whatever it takes to buy it for as little as possible. When they SELL it, you can bet you a$$ they will make sure to market it with a new frame and will reap the bennies of your work and patience. Sell it privately, if you sell it at all.

99% of anyone looking for a truck will have no idea that there was ever an issue to start with.

Not car related but I do real estate for a living. The price difference in a house with a working furnace and a new working furnace, $0. Older roof or new roof, $0. New stove vs old, $0. A non working furnace, uninsurable roof, death trap stove etc, will all have a negative impact on what someone is willing to pay though.

MOST things people do to their house won't affect value of the house itself. BUT it may make it sell faster. The faster you sell the more money you net, even if the gross numbers are the same. If you have no payments etc, it doesn't matter as much though.
