Somebody knocked it off while it was parked on the street. Fixed it up last Friday though so Daphne is all better

Oh. I didn't take it lightly. Believe me. Nobody hurts my baby. Sadly it's a busy street and I'm away all week so I had no idea when it happened.

Yeah. It's an awful street. I always turn my mirror in. But I've seen mirrors get knocked off VERY regularly. People who are locals know how to drive. Others...hit shit

I've learned my lesson and now do the same. Plus I have to get all the duct tape gunk off the side now.

Sucks to be stranded on the side of 50. Ask me how I know. ;)

I have lived in Bowie since 1979. I have either worked in Northern VA, Wash DC, Silver Spring or in the Tysons VA area from 1979 till 1998. First time I was stranded was in a POS Chevette, company car, along the side of 50 when 50 was just 2 lanes. Scary as all get out. I had a flat tire in the Tacoma on the side of 50 back in January. Route 50 is a very dangerous road. Lots of bad drivers that do not pay attention to what is going on around them.

Honestly, it'll be my first time going to one down here and I'm not sure where yet. I need to pull a bumper off for my gf's car if we can find one and I'm looking to see if maybe there is a cap laying around. Pep Boys recommended one at 2801 Hawkins Point Rd. Baltimore, MD but I don't remember the name. Although a google search could easily do that, I'll live with the excitement of finding out when I get there.
