    I'm leaning towards Dakars but, I'm still a bit hesitant due to some saying they ride really stiff without weight. I was thiking that if I got the Dakars, I'd pull the 3rd leaf out and/or one of the overloads off. I don't want a bunch of rake, want to be able to put weight in the back, and don't want odd noises and have it ride harshly.

    :subtitled: I think so...maybe not :notsure::facepalm:

    there are actually quite a few metal fabs in Goleta alone. Who's to say they don't just give you their scrap if you just show up and ask??

    Anyways, looks like we'll have some mud up at west....

    Well, something like that. I really think that I will end up going with the Dakars. If the ride is too high, I can take out the 3rd leaf. If it's too stiff, I can remove one of the overload leafs. If I need to lift it more or make it so that they can take more weight, I can add the D29XL add-a-leaf.

    I also have been reading this thread -----> http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/156353-squeaky-dakars-any-advice-others-dakars.html that has me a bit concerned about getting the Dakars. My current leaf setup isn't quiet...I was hoping to fix that along with improve ride performance by sepnding the money for a new leaf pack.

    There are 1-2 general metal fabs in old town alone. Have no idea what the names are, just know they are there cause I've driven by them.
